Donnie is a retired Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper and current Winchester Ohio Police Chief with a distinguished career expanding nearly 4 decades, dedicated to public safety, Donnie Edgington now brings that same commitment and discipline to driver training instruction. With years of firsthand experience responding to roadway incidents and enforcing traffic laws, he offers students a unique, real-world perspective on safe driving practices.

Known for a calm, patient teaching style, Donnie focuses on building confidence behind the wheel while emphasizing defensive driving, hazard awareness, and responsible decision-making. His background allows students to understand not just how to drive, but why safe driving matters - helping them develop habits that can prevent accidents and save lives.

Donnie is passionate about preparing individuals to navigate the road safely, responsibly, and with confidence.

Stephanie Edgington is the co-owner and office manager for Safeway Driver Training Academy. She also serves as an Authorizing Official for the enterprise. Stephanie retired as the Fiscal/Human Resource Officer of the Adams County Health Department in 2023.

With more than 40 years of experience in bookkeeping, office administration, and financial management, Stephanie has built a career defined by accuracy, integrity, and dedication. She possesses extensive knowledge in accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, budgeting, financial reporting, and maintaining organized office operations.

Known for her professionalism and dependability, Stephanie brings decades of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of financial and administrative practices. She is passionate about growing this business through sound financial management and effective office leadership.

When she’s not working you can find her spending time with her grandchildren, usually at a ballpark!
